| Last
year was not too good for many and the year had its own ups and
downs. Every year we look forward with hopes and aspirations that
the coming year would be better. At times it does bring in a great
positive change for many and for few it’s “just another
year”. If we can pursue things and be focussed, we could counter
and resist the ill effects the year may bring in and never lose
confidence in ourselves irrespective of the downward trends we may
face.
The Chinese New Year is celebrated with gaiety and pomp throughout
the South East Asian countries and the celebration lasts for 15
days. There are many rituals and prayers associated with the ushering
of the New Year and they are a real joy and a visual delight.
The most important aspect of the Lunar New Year is the preparation
to welcome it especially doing a thorough cleaning of the home and
throwing out old things which are not required. Those of you, who
have not had time to clean up your home, may do so after the end
of the 15 days of the lunar New Year. Clearing your space and cleaning
up is an essential part of Fengshui and quite often just a cleaning
would give you some surprisingly favorable prospects.
