Arowana is a divine and a very graceful fish with its barbels/whisker, large and pretty scales and is said to resemble a DRAGON. Arowana is also known as a DRAGON FISH.

Dragon is a sign of Prosperity and wealth for the Chinese. Dragon is also said to ward off evil spirits and negativity offering protection to the home and the occupants.

The Arowna swims very gracefully and appears very bold with its lovely expressive eyesand is a noble fish although very shy. It is best admired when we stand atleast 3 feet away from the tank as it is very sensitive to people crowding near it.

The Chinese Business house or a business man prefers to have a Arowana as they are a rare and exotic fishes and is a "status symbol" to own one.
